The “My Sister’s Keeper Initiative” will host our first annual “Pap Party” on January 13th, 2018 at the Nelson Mandela Park in recognition of cervical cancer awareness month. The Pap Party is a celebration of Women’s Health that will create a positive environment where women can share their experiences with other women thereby making it more comfortable for others to participate in cervical screening and HPV vaccination. We will be offering free cervical screening tests,HPV vaccinations and cervical cancer education from some of the leading gynaecologists in Trinidad and Tobago. The atmosphere of the Pap Party will be one of openness, acceptance, pampering and fun. In addition to screening, vaccination and education services, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their health concerns with on-site volunteer physicians, receive free treats by our sponsors, have the opportunity to participate in a “socasize” dance exercise class and receive free express manicures and makeovers by volunteer estheticians. The Pap Party will be a child-friendly event, where a play park and face-painting will be available so thatmoms can bring their kids along.
